The aim of this Regulation is to arrange the methods and principles regarding the technical specifications, packaging information, declarations, market launches, market inspection and controls, production site controls and precautions to be taken as a result of controls of cosmetic products, in a way not to cause misunderstandings and not to cause damage to human health, and providing that they reach the consumer with correct and understandable information.
Following subjects are covered in the Regulation:
- Conditions regarding the Categories, Technical Specifications and Packaging Information of Cosmetic Products
- Materials which should not be included by the Cosmetic Products
- Materials which are Free to Be Used in the Cosmetics Products
- Information to be included on the Inner and Outer Packaging
- Informing the National Toxic Counseling Centre
- Analysis Methods and Special Principles for the Use of Materials except for those permitted to be used in Cosmetics
- ILLUSTRATIVE LIST BY CATEGORY OF COSMETIC PRODUCTS
- LIST OF SUBSTANCES WHICH MUST NOT FORM PART OF THE COMPOSITION OF COSMETIC PRODUCTS
- Cosmetic products thta are not allowed to be sold as of 01.Dec.2006
